Would you rather have a 1911 in 9mm or .45 Pros and Con?

I'll take my .45's loaded with the 200gr D&L hole puncher. Easy shooting, bad ass results.

My new Tisas 1911 A1 us army

FWIW, I just received my second US Army, museum grade, there was a small change. They didn't include the spare walnut grips. Not that they would have ever been installed, the plastic is the correct version. They were included in the first one I bought, other than that, no difference that I...

My new Tisas 1911 A1 us army

I just ordered another one of the U.S.1911's Modeled after the WWII Remington. I bought one when they first came out, great pistol. I also have their 1911 Stingray, VERY nice EDC gun. Palmetto had them for $329 the other day, waiting for it to arrive. IMHO you can't go wrong with these...

All you new small business owners

I don't know, but I sure don't think I'd qualify as a "dealer" if I sell one of my old rifles to another collector.

    DRC Custom Build

    Very nice pistol!

    M1 Garand price

CMP, yes. Agree, probably best bet. If you take a look at gun broker, they are all over the map, mostly way north. Very high prices on a lot of them. Springfield M1A in .308 is a nice buy, for a really nice shooter. IMHO That reminds me, I gotta go shoot some steel. (off topic, still really...

All you new small business owners

I just thought I'd take a minute and thank the dumb ass at 1600 for the new business opportunity. Never thought much about becoming a dealer.

    Help needed.......

Been awhile. UPDATE: I did end up selling all of it to one buyer, locally. I think it was better than selling it at auction, with the premiums, and fees involved. The lower fee's that are associated with the no-reserve listings looked good, but then, who knows how the crowd will go. I did...

    Checking the waters

Put a flat CMC 3.5 lb. trigger in that 10mm today. Guess that means another trip to the range tomorrow or Friday to make sure it still shoots. I'll just have to force myself to go back.;)

That's a beauty!! If it shoots as good as it looks, I'd say you got a winner!!

Thankyou Bob, left over from my upbringing, finetuned by the military, a half century ago. Still plugging along.

    Checking the waters

No chrono, but did get to shoot it today. A bunch different stuff. First mag was reman ball, here's the target. 50 yrd. Not bad for a 75 yr. old with a bad eye. I see no problem using this in deer season. I think it'll get better down the road, only put 70 rds. thru it today. Shot steel...

    What did you carry today?

G43 or Sig P365, both fit the same holster, no 1911 on stay home days.

    FOR SALE Wlson EDC X9

Selling this "safe queen" it's only been out one time, and that was less that 50 rds. To me, it's not a carry gun, too expensive to use, and have it land in an evidence room. I bought it all new, comes with case, range bag, 13 Wilson mags. and original papers. $3000 FFL/FFL

I might have access to one, if so, I'll post info after I get it to the range. Snow in the forecast for now, try for next week??
